think i could fit a VG30DETT in a '58 Volvo PV 444? i think we (my dad is being generous enough to pay for the body/engine build in exchange for me loaning the Volvo or the Z to him as a commuter-car for a few years) are actually looking to put in a common domestic V6 and drivetrain from GM most likely. other than the engine and drivetrain, and perhaps the brake system, i believe we are keeping it exactly like original in appearance. i will definitely be installing a full (though stealth) stereo though once we get the body and mechanics situated. i am really looking forward to getting it driveable.
